In the course of both performing and running a teaching and recording studio, I go through a lot of music. If I’m doing the former, the music is in my head, as it has been for decades, but if I’m working with students or recording clients, the music needs to be available to them in a more accessible format, like the printed page. Teaching, especially, led me to create some methods and exercises to make a specific point to students and later to write some tunes that would employ the musical theories and skills that we worked on in learning sessions. It turns out that I had accumulated quite a collection of these original works, and I have put them out for your use and, hopefully, your enjoyment.
The really good thing about this, or so say my colleagues, is that–unlike many composers–I’m not dead yet and that I might actually be able to carry on a dialog with my end users. That would be you if you bought any of these books.
